Tyler Ericksen


Tyler is a business and trademark associate at Grumbles Law. He assists with all varieties of business and trademark law from entity formation and governance for businesses to trademark clearance searches and advisement for client intellectual property needs. Prior to joining Grumbles Law, he worked as a law clerk doing both transactional work and business litigation.

Tyler grew up in a small-town northwest of the Twin Cities. After high school, he attended the University of North Dakota where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then moved to Chicago where he worked as a cook downtown. Tyler moved back to his native Minnesota to pursue his dream at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

While in law school, he was a member of the Student Intellectual Property Association, served as a staff member of Mitchell Hamline’s Intellectual Property Law Review, Cybaris, and staffed the Mitchell Hamline Trademark Clinic where he assisted and advised clients on the use and registration of their trademarks. He graduated with academic honors in the spring of 2020.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys cooking, playing golf and billiards, fishing, going to concerts, and spending time with his significant other and their two cats.
